Greetings,
Can I confirm that the mail server on the classic platform is XMail, and that it supports IMAP?
Thanks,
Shane.

Hi Shane,
Yes our classic platform non-exchange based email is based on xmail and IMAP is enabled.
Actually it is based on qmail. XMail is just our internal name for it. When we first started offering linux based hosting services, they were all called xsomething. :)
Thanks.
My Parallels Plesk Panel 10.3.1 is also using qmail 1.03. I think IMAP is supported.
Regards,
Shane.
Hi Goodman. I'm just curious on what you are try to achieve? https://imagicon.info/cat/15-33/smile.png
I would like to have email synced across multiple devices. For example, when I send a message, the message will appear in the "Sent Items" folder on the other device.
Shane.
IMAP does it well. Exchange does it better: Mobile Email With Hosted Exchange | myhosting.com
I think I might try Exchange, but myhosting offers Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. I might try to find someone that offers Exchange 2010.
Shane.
Hi Shane,
There are of course differences between 2007 and 2010, but from a mobile device perspective you probably wouldn't notice too much. One of the most improved features in 2010 is OWA (Outlook Web Access), but the OWA in 2007 is still well beyond many common webmail platforms.
If you want to test it out for a month, we offer a trial on our "Mobile Email" or "Mobile Email + Outlook" plans:
