Is hosting a game server against policies?

I'm thinking of upgrading my plan to premium and hosting a Counterstrike: Source server for friends, but I am unsure as to how suitable myhosting would be for this. It doesn't seem to be against policies, but I know that hosting online games can produce some pretty hefty server loads, which might cause problems for other customers.

Does anyone else here do this kind of thing? Can decent ping be gotten off of these servers?

im disappointed with myhosting =/

answering u: myhosting don't allocate cs servers, and hosting plans just offer u web server hosting, not gaming hosting.

u can host a game server in myhosting only paying for a dedicated server, but it's very expensive while have many other services on the web offering cs server rents.
