    Default Google-compliant sitemaps

    How can you be sure that the sitemap on your blog is Google-compliant? Are sitemaps that are compliant with Google harder to create than other kinds of sitemaps?

    There are a number of tools available to help you validate the structure of your Sitemap based on these schemas. You can find a list of XML-related tools at each of the following locations:

    also check out google webmaster tools…as they will actually create one for you and upload it to be indexed.
