    Default Wordpress Driectory

    Problem Solved

Ok, I installed WP through the control panel in the manager, which I usually don't like to do, but was tired and just not into doing it manually.

The problem I have is that I cannot get the the root files in an FTP program to edit them. I usually tweak my WP blogs by editing the back end php. \

My WP directory shows as /usr/local/pem/vhosts/101XXX/webspace/siteapps/1026/htdocs/ But I cannot get to that directory in any FTP program to edit the files... Do i need to uninstall that one, and then install manually from the zip file? TIA for any help...

you should be able to use your FTP program to login and then navigate to /webspace/siteapps/1026/htdocs/

I should add that you will actually need to manually type that location as the numbered folder is hidden by default.
