FTP Problem

For a while now I have trouble uploading multiple files via my ftp program. When I drag a folder to the server the first few files upload and then the upload stalls. I have the same problem looking after another site that is hosted on myhosting.com. I work on Mac OSX and have tried three ftp programs:

1. Fetch FTP
2. Yummy FTP
3. Cute FTP

All produce the same result. I have looked on some forums and the only suggestion I came across that seemed relevant was that the problem could be on the host server and I should contact the server administrator.

Can you please advise how I can remedy this problem.

have you tried switching from active ftp to passive ftp (or vice versa)?

Yup changing to passive mode got it
