"mcraefamily.com" is a linux hosting account that I presently only use for email. I would like to install the wikimedia software on it, and create my own wiki. Is this hard to do? (Or is it unreasonable, unnecessary, etc.?) Thanks.

Hello GraemeMcRae,
If you have a Linux account then MediaWiki is available for automatic installation. Simply login to your control panel and click on "Application Manager".
If you have Windows Account then you can still install MediaWiki by activation your Linux account if you haven't done so. Having a Linux account is totally free of charge. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Timur Catakli
