    Default carriers to fight free texting apps?

    there's some talk that the major carriers are going to band together to somehow fight apps, like Pinger, that provide free text messaging. the carriers lose billions of dollars a year due to these apps.

    Some cellular carriers are blocking Pinger, Free texting apps could take a big bite out of the profits that text messages generate for cellular carriers .
