I just read on one of the blogs how Wal-Mart will soon lower the price of the last iPhone to $97. This sounds like a much better deal than buying the 4G--opinions?

$97 for a 3GS is an amazing deal. You can't go wrong here --- Apple needs to get rid of the stock, so we as consumers definitely win here.

It really depends on the consumer whether it is a better deal than the 4G or not. To some people paying the premium to have the new 4G is worth it, to others, it's not. For me... it's worth it
