I saw a poll just came out that says people sepnd about one-fifth of their Internet time on social activities. This doesn't seem right to me--I'd think that at least half of people's Internet time would be social.

I agree with you. Most people use internet for business + personal aims.

Personal use, mostly includes social platforms. With basic calculation, the rate should be fifty-fifty.
