How does myob compare to quickbooks when it comes to accounting projects? Which do you prefer?

# Does the business need reporting by the month against a set budget? Does it need a Point of Sale System that is quick and easy to learn? MYOB (and Retail Manager) will do this quite well.
# Does the business need reporting where they can easily determine their growth over the last (say) five years, comparing this week to the same week in those past years? Clubs and hospitality businesses compare sales, cost of goods sold and payroll by weekly time period all the time. QuickBooks every time.
# Am I looking to do tax returns, BAS and compliance work up to a stage and letting the accountant finish everything else? This is fine and there are lots of small businesses that want exactly this service. Go with MYOB.
# Am I looking to help the business grow by developing reasonably elaborate budgeting, cash flow and forecasting? QuickBooks.
# Do you want to advise your company (client or employer) on how to maximise efficiencies gained from the superior use of the management reporting system? QuickBooks.
# Are you a spreadsheet report person? (MYOB); or build reports that become part of the package? (QuickBooks)
