Javascript Frameworks

Ok so I'm developing a new theme for MyBulletin Board, and I'm thinking of adding some slick fading navigation for the menu header. Now, I know that this is within the capabilities of both jQuery and mooTools, as well as several other frameworks, but I'd like to know which one would be better for my theme. I need something with a small file size, and hopefully something that allows commercial distribution as well.

The best thing to do is try a few of the frameworks to see which one(s) you like best.

Ahh just tried out jQuery and loved the simplicity of use. Seems very capable too; definitely sticking with this one.
