    Lightbulb XHTML and XForms

XHTML is an application written in XML (as opposed to HTML, which was written in SGML). XForms is a new modal for collecting structured data - again using XML.

Actually, XHTML is simply a derivation of XML that's centered on HTML. One chooses to use HTML or XHTML when specifying how a web page is structured.

    Default Xhtml

What's a simple, primary reason you'd use XHTML?

    Default Xhtml

I like it because it forces your documents to be "well-formed" (not have any errors in them).

Are they both just as easily recognizable by search engines?

Nice resource. I think the momentum towards XHTML is important to keep in consideration.
