    Default auto-responder

Can you get an auto-responder through myhosting, and does this cost extra?

What exactly is an auto-responder, anyway?

The most basic definition of "auto-responder" is any program that will send a pre-written message in response to an email sent to your site.

I never like getting messages from auto responders, but that's just me.

    Default Out of office reply

    Hi PotsNPans!

Yes, you can use the auto responder with myhosting. The best thing is, it's free!

If you're on the classic system, you can edit the "vacation message" within your email administration panel (http://emailadmin.domainname.com) and sign in with your email address, and password. You will find the vacation message link there.

If you're on the onCloud system, then you'll need to create the "out of office reply" through OWA (outlook web access). Once you are logged into http://ex.myhosting.com with your email address and password, click on Options, and then you will see Out of Office reply on the left-hand side. Make sure you're using internet explorer, so you can see all the features in the options menu.
