If you sell items online, how do you decide when to run a sale and how much of a discount to offer?

I think it's a good idea to offer sales semi-regularly. That way, you'll have customers checking in with you on a regular basis to see when your next sale will be.

Having a sale can also be a good way to introduce new products or jump-start sales of a product that's not selling too well.

I agree, one thing that I really like about Myhosting is the frequency of their sales. They are a pretty significant amount of savings and I would love to see them release new services.
