    Angry Payment charged but service not received

    Hello,

    I have placed an order on myhosting.com for a domain,
    at customer details I have filled full form with payment details, Pressed submit button, but returned no confirmation page no confirmation email and payment has been charged from my credit card,

    I contacted support for the issue to be resolved, they said we can not help you because you don't have order number, How can I get order number for this issue? I told them I have received confirmation from my credit card company that SOFTCOM TE has charged the payment for the order, but as I explained I have not received any confirmation from myhosting.com,

    maybe this is myhosting.com's system fault or they are scam, I requested them to check the payment they received from my xxxx-xxxx credit card number but they replied me that they can't check, Why????

    waiting for the explanation from them,

    It`s weird if you don't have order number, but i`ll submit your problem to cust service/billing staff. i hope they can help you ASAP.

    Yes It is really weird if your support or billing department replies this,

    The $5 charge is a Pre-Authorized hold to confirm the validity of your identity and credit. This should have already been released by your bank. We did not charge you a confirmed amount for the service as it did not even get to that point.     Hi There,

    Sorry you're having trouble, but the statement you quoted above is correct. When you placed your order, a pre-authorization was placed for $5. This does not mean that we got $5, but just that it's pre-authorized through the bank to verify that there are funds available for your order, and also for our account verification purposes.

    Since your order wasn't completed, we didn't process the charge. Normally the bank will release the pre-authorization after a couple days, but unfortunately we don't have any control over what they do. So I recommend that you contact your bank and ask them to release the hold on the $5.

    As a thank you for your patience and understanding, please contact our Billing team by phone or email and they will be happy to offer you a coupon or promotion toward any future purchase from myhosting.com.
