Has anyone incorporated one of those little squares that people scan with their smartphones on their websites? It seems like there are all sorts of advertising possibilities with this capability.

Those are called Quick Response, or QR, codes. Fun fact: they were first created for the car industry, and now they're everywhere!
Here's a link on how you can create your own:

QR codes are neat, but how effective are they? I see them everywhere and wonder how many people actually use them.
i think they're effective; i know a lot of people who use them. not only that, but they can serve almost as a kind of status symbol.
QR codes are cool and trendy right now but I've honestly never seen someone pull out there phone and actually engage with them. Why not try for yourself though and set something up real quick?![]()

I've heard its not accurate to capture with your phone sometimes…I think its an overall good idea but the apps on phones/cameras have to be fine tuned a bit more
