Are there people who blog every day? I'd be curious to read a week of entries and see how you pull it off--I don't keep a blog b/c I feel I wouldn't be able to post anything interesting more than once a week.

Don't be shy about asking your readers for ideas either. They could give you great suggestions, and if you use their ideas it will strengthen their commitment to your blog.
