If you show off web sites you've made to certain businesses, they might ask you to make them a site in exchange for goods or services. In particular, a lot of dentists need websites and might be willing to offer you free dental work in exchange for a nice site.
Does this really work? I'd love to make a website in exchange for a free root canal!
