A small tip for choosing domain names: DO NOT choose a long name such mine. It's just a dummy site so name does not matter

Same here Shane. I thought it was just me at first, but I guess not. I did giggle at the tip about site naming though, shorter is definitely better because it's more memorable

I both agree and disagree about longer URL's. First, you may be forced into getting a longer URL simply because your first choice is unavailable. Second, while precision is often promoted throughout the Web, long URL's have shown to stick out in people's minds. Regardless, try and get your main keyword/keyword string in your URL!
