    Has anyone been able to customize their live chat box in an exciting way?

    Actually, I feel plain text boxes are best. They allow people to really focus on the conversation.

    I agree. I'm not put off by a completely blank chat box at all.

    remember that in most cases minimal design is best. especially when content is so important. case in point google.
