Creating MX/mail Records?

Not sure if it's me or what's up, but when I try to add MX records in the DNS management page I get:

"An error occurred in the creation of this record. No changes were made."

I've tried the new server addresses with and without the trailing dot. Same thing. Is there a trick to this? Apparently I need the zone. Any idea what this should be if not "@"?

Sorry for the issues. Are you still having trouble setting your MX records? Our DNS management interface may prevent some invalid records from being created.

When you use the @ symbol in your MX record, for example Zone = @ and Server = mail, it will point your MX record at the A record named 'mail'. So you must first make sure you have a matching A record before you set your MX record like this.

If you want, you can specify a IP Address explicitly in the MX record. The Zone would be the name of your MX record, like 'mail' or something like that, and the server would be either "hostname.domain.com." with a trailing dot, or "123.45.67.89" without a trailing dot.
