Can't change my own dns servers?
I just won about 8 auctions off of namejet, just to realize that I can't go in and change my own dns servers?????
I emailed support, but after 4 days, noone has gotten back to me about the changes.... WTF ??????
I know - I am not retarded.
Look at the screen shot. Look at the area where the nameservers are.
Does it look like there is a place for me to make changes to the nameservers?
I understand that you have an issue about DNS management.
I am going ahead and forwarding your issue to one of my colleagues and I will get back to you with a response as soon as possible.
Let me know if I can be further help.
Currently the nameservers are managed through the registrar portal directly at https://manage.opensrs.net. I've had the login details sent to your administrative contact email address (used to register) so that you can log into that page and manage the nameservers there.
If you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our 24/7 support team at email@example.com.
Why don't you let us change the nameservers?
I am having the same issue. Purchased a domain through NameJet only to find out I have it sitting on myhosting.com with no way to change the nameserver. I would eventually want to move the domain to a different registrar and I can't even find where this information is.
This is frustrating.
I get it - you want to trap people into buying your hosting and to never be able to get their domain off. However, I just don't feel it is very ethical.
So, what do I do now? Number one - how do I change the nameservers. Number two - how do I transfer my domain off of myhosting.com?
We also offer outstanding 24/7 support via live chat, phone, and email. Our CS reps would be more than happy to help you with all of your transferring needs.
I see you found the solution - thanks for the feedback!
