vista outlook crashes when sending digitally signed e-mail

We are running vista on dell e-6400, lattitude d630, and lattitude d620 laptops. We are also running outlook 2007. The problem we are having is that when anyone tries to send digitally signed e-mail after 2 or three e-mails outlook crashes everytime. It only seems to be happening on these systems. Has anyone seen or experienced this issue. Thanks.

This happens on multiple machines?

I would check that you have all of the latest Office updates installed and run Outlook Diagnostics under the Help menu.
