    Question Spam Trouble

    Greetings,

Does anyone know how to prevent email from going to the spam sub-folder on shared Linux classic hosting?

I've tried logging into the control panel:

    http://emailadmin.myhosting.com

But I don't see an option for this. There is a Whitelist option, but I don't this this will help because the messages are not on the Realtime Blackhole List.

    Thanks,
    Shane.

    Hi Shane,

From the main menu, under "mail host properties", you can click on "Anti-SPAM". On this page (http://emailadmin.myhosting.com/Domain/SPAM.asp), you can change the options to either tag the subject line, move to a Spam folder, or do nothing.

Is this what you're looking for?

    Question Spam

I already have the last option selected ("Create a sub-folder called "spam" and move all messages suspected to be SPAM to this folder. NOTE: email in this folder will be automatically deleted after 7 days based on the time of delivery.")

And I was wondering if it was possible to identify certain emails as legitimate, so that they don't go straight to the spam sub-folder.

    Thanks,
    Shane.
