Wordpress Google Apps email problem

Have you tried applying this rule?

Do not enter the email address you’re trying to set up with your custom domain. The “Email address” here has to be a valid address you can currently receive email with.

I am using Wordpress and Google Apps to handle my email.

The problem is both Google Apps & my own site can create the same email addresses - for instance office@my.site.com is OK on both the local host (MyHosting) & Google Apps servers.

When Wordpress sends an email it gets sent to the local host email address only and I can't find the switch to tell the MyHosting server to send remote and not local.

Any help welcome.

Why do you have them both setup? Do you intend to use one or the other in the end? If so, which one and why?
