Email mailbox tied to domain disk space?

i am running a reseller VPS with Win08 w plesk 9.3. Is the email mailbox size quota tied to the disk space for the domain? So if i have on one domain with 10 email mailboxes for 200MB quota each (2 Gig) and the disk space set for the domain is 3 Gig. Does that leave me 1 Gig for the website files/databases?
