VPS live support needed!

First off i would like to say as there is a live support for prices and deals it would be great to have a live support for vps or technical issues also ive been having a problem with my server.
I run a game server on my server which my friends also do with same specs of
Disk Space 40 GB
RAM 3584 MB
CPU 1280 MHz
Bandwidth 600 GB

now for them their servers have no lag what so ever but my server seems to be having issues of lag and speed. They suggested that there might be programs i am not in need of which i have no idea how to stop or know which onse to stop..also i would really like to somehow make sure i am getting what im paying for since theirs has no lag with exact same set up as mine...any ideas?please thank you

here is a quote from another hoster with same exact setup as me:
"Talk to your VPS host and let them know you're having issues, a 3GB system should be able to handle more than just 15 players.. I've fit 54 on a 2.5GB system before it overloaded."
