New VPS Order

Hello. I placed an order for a VPS yesterday (order number SO034852). I understand that the normal setup time is around 2 hours, though it has been about 24 hours and I have not received any further communication. Could anyone elaborate on this? Thank you!

Sorry for the delay. As you probably know your order has now been completed. We will investigate why it took longer than anticipated.

After checking a little further it appears that the delay is because we were unable to process payment immediately. Approximately 20 hours after your order was placed, payment was finally able to be processed, after which your order was submitted for provisioning and completed in 17 minutes.

i had a similar problem. i provided payment during checkout, however my credit card company held payment and wanted to validate my purchase was valid. i just assumed that after i verified with my card company, that the payment would just go through, not the case.

i believe myhosting should have sent an email saying that payment failed and i should have retried. i waited about 10 hours or so, before calling customer support. at which time i was told payment was not processed. once i re-tried payment, it was provisioned very quickly.
