Killing processes

How do I find out which processes running on my vps I can kill? It's running pretty slow and I'm wondering if that isn't why.

I'm afraid it would largely depend on what your VPS has installed and what you're using it for. Perhaps there's something else beyond a hung process slowing down your machine? What type of VPS are you using? and what are you running on it?
