    In your opinion(s), what are the biggest benefits to virtual servers?

    They're significantly less expensive than dedicated servers, but generally have fewer resources.

    There are strict limitations on what you're able to do with shared hosting accounts, and you have limited access to the server that your shared hosting account resides on. With VPSs, you have "root" access, so you can configure them to suit your needs.

    Default Dedicated Vs. VPS

    Compare to Dedicated server they are chipper. But, if you have a big site with more than 10,000 visits each day I suggest to use dedicated server.
