Exclamation Additional IP Addresses not functioning after reboot

A few times after rebooting my VPS, my secondary IP address no longer correctly resolves. Each time, I need to submit a ticket and it takes support a few hours on average to resolve the issue.

Has anyone come across this before? I'm wondering if there's something I can do on the server itself to correct it.

    Default Ticket Number?

Do you have the ticket number from the last time this happened to you? So we can check the history and see why it is occuring again? Thanks!

It doesn't look like an issue with Plesk as the IP isn't even assigned in Windows anymore. Ping request don't resolve and it doesn't show under ipconfig.

I was able to look up your account and checked your 2 IPs, they seem to be resolving currently. However one resolves to a default Plesk page and I cannot verify myself it is resolving to your particular server. I will get one of our administrators to double check it for you.

I also recommend re-opening your existing support ticket #QUW-990969.

Thanks Tim. The issue was addressed the other day, as it has the other two occasions. The default Plesk page is correct, as only 1 site has been moved over (I want to get an idea of reliability before moving more sites over). The issue is, that second IP doesn't resolve anywhere after the server is rebooted.

Support did respond to my email after I created this post, and said that the issue was with the ARP record, and that a static entry has been created for now. I'll email back and check on the status of a permanent fix.

    Thanks.
