The worst experience of my life
Trying to get a reliable server has been the worst experience of my life, and I took shrapnel to the back of my head in Afghanistan.
I ordered four days ago, set it up and the container locks to the dedicated root user.
10 hours later they reboot it (I had no access to ssh or the recovery panel).
Started again, and four hours later, the same thing. Each time was after enabling proftp. This time I said move my VPS or just refund my money. They refused to move the broken VPS to a reliable one without paying for a second server then waiting for a refund on the first.
I even told them how dumb it is to put the recovery panel in the same container that it needed to repair, but they all have ADD and can't remember longer than three minutes.
The only partially decent conversation through all this was getting the refund. They would rather lose a lifetime customer paying for six accounts for the oldest game developer in the industry than do anything that's not mechanical and specified in the East Indian Bible of business (otherwise known as The Ambush Marketing; guide to new scammers).
They didn't just lose $300.00 on this test server, but the other established servers as well. NFOSERVERS aren't so anal retentive and know how a business is supposed to be run, so I'll just take a dozen VPS accounts over there.

Hi azvampyre,
I'm sorry to hear of your experience. I'm not sure what was happening with ProFTP but i would definitely like to get to the bottom of it and to the issues you've experienced.
If the issue was whenever ProFTP was enabled I wonder how the host would have been affected and we are certainly looking into this. If there is anything I can do ease your opinion of us please let me know.
