    I was surprised to learn from that link that troubleshooting server issues isn't as hard as I thought it would be.

    Well, that totally depends upon the problem that you're trying to solve. Some are quite easy, whereas others are quite difficult and complex.

    Keep in mind that a "server" is still just a computer, like your desktop or laptop computer. The primary difference is that it's used for providing one or more specific services to other computers, rather than as a general purpose workstation for people.
