Update Credit Card
To update a credit card through our secure pages please follow the instructions provided below:
- Browse to your Control Panel at https://support.myhosting.com
- Log on to your account using your domain nane and password. If you are a reseller you must enter in your reseller ID.
- Select My Account
- Select Credit Card Information
- Enter your credit card details (all fields are required).
- Click the Update Credit Card button.
Changing Payment Method from Credit Card to Check
If you are currently paying by credit card and would like to now pay by check or money order, simply send an e-mail to our billing department with your request, and we will process the changes for you.
NOTE: We request that all accounts paid by check or money order send payment for at least 6 months in advance.
Credit Card Types
Currently we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Credit Card Declined
A credit card can be declined for multiple reasons. To correct the
problem, please contact your credit card company. In some cases, credit
card companies have become more cautious about internet-based
transactions. These processes have been added to protect you, but in
some cases can create inconveniences such as the need to verify some
transactions.
Contact your credit card company directly to discuss this situation. If
the problem is related to verifying the transaction, explain who
myhosting.com (SoftCom Inc.) is and verify that the transaction is
valid. In some cases, you might need to authorize Internet-based mail
orders to ensure that you are not inconvenienced in the future.
Canadian funds billed to American Express
Since we are based in Canada, American Express only allows us to
charge our clients in Canadian funds. This is their policy, not ours.
Once the transaction goes to the bank they will add the exchange rate.
If this is a potential problem for you, you can either change your
credit card to Visa or MasterCard, or pay by check, money order or
Paypal.
