Installing Joomla

Once you have signed up for Joomla you'll need to install the application to your subscription. To do so please complete the following:

1. Login to your control panel at https://manage.myhosting.com
2. Select your Joomla subscription if it is not selected by default (in the Select Subscription tab)
3. Then in the hosting tab click on Applications
   • 
4. Then Click on Install New Application
   • 
5. Click on joomla
   • 
6. Enter the information requested and Click on Next
   • 
7. Confirm the information and click on Finish

Log in to your Applications Administration

1. Login to your control panel at https://manage.myhosting.com
2. Select your Joomla subscription if it is not selected by default (in the Select Subscription tab)
3. Then in the hosting tab click on Applications
   • 
4. Click on the application name that you want to manage
5. From here you will see a section called Entry Point
6. Click on the interface you would like to login to
   • This will allow you to login directly to the application to manage your site.

Managing your Application Settings

To manage your applications Administration information please follow these steps:

1. Login to your control panel at https://manage.myhosting.com
2. Select your Joomla subscription if it is not selected by default (in the Select Subscription tab)
3. Then in the hosting tab click on Applications

4. Click on the application name that you want to manage
5. Click on the Settings tab
   • You can manage your admin login and some default site settings here
   • 

Setting Up Email

Joomla's email function should work straight out of the install. No settings will need to be changed. If you need to change the email settings you can do so by:

1. Login to your Joomla administration at http://domainname.com/administrator
2. From there click on Global Configuration
3. Click on the Server tab
4. Then adjust your Mail Settings
