This tutorial assumes that you have already logged in to Plesk.
Now let's learn how to create a subdomain in Plesk.
Click the Subdomains icon.
Subdomains are additional domain names that enable you to host
the additional websites or parts of your web site on the same server
with no need to register any additional domain names.
Click the Create Subdomain option.
Specify the name of a subdomain by typing it in the box.
To enable secure transactions, select the SSL support check box. Let's skip this option.
Scroll down.
If there is a need to create a separate FTP access for this
subdomain you should fill in the required fields. Let's leave the same
FTP user for the new subdomain.
Now let's specify the required programming languages for this subdomain.
Click "Select All" link next to Services.
Click in the drop-down menu next to "PHP support" to choose the way PHP is running on the server. Select the FastCGI application.
When ready, click Finish.
That's it! The new subdomain has been successfully created and is shown in the list.
Now let's learn how to remove a subdomain, if necessary.
Select the subdomain from the list.
Then click the Remove link.
Select the checkbox to confirm the removal.
Then click OK.
We're done! The selected subdomain has been successfully removed now.
This is the end of the tutorial. You now know how to create
subdomains in Plesk. Remember that you can assign specific login
information for subdomains that's different from your main account login
information and enable SSL support if necessary.
