How to create a catchall email account in Plesk

This tutorial assumes that you have already logged in to Plesk.

Now let's learn how to create a catchall email account in Plesk.

  1. Click the Mail Accounts icon.

  3. This is where you create your catchall email address.

    • There are 3 different ways to handle the mail being sent to the non-existing email addresses within your domain:
      • bounce the email back to the sender;
      • forward the message to a specific address;
      • or reject it altogether
  4. To create a catchall email account, we must select the forward to address option. Click here, and enter the email address you want all unrouted mails to go to.

  5. When ready, click OK to save the changes.

  6. That's it! The new catchall email address has now been set up. Now whenever someone sends an email to the non-existing email address within your domain, it will automatically be routed to the email address you just created.
