Parallels software solutions for managing virtual server hosting environments are among the most popular tools for managing, operating and securing virtual servers, and another hosting provider recently adopted the company's services.
By deploying Parallels' programs, such as Plesk, Virtuozzo, HELM and Business Management, the hosting company is now able to offer user-friendly server hosting solutions.
"Partnering with Parallels will give us an edge to focus more on customer centric solutions for web hosting and cloud enablement," Betrand Yella, managing director at the virtual server hosting company, said.
Parallels' software is currently in use by approximately 5,000 virtual server hosting providers. The programs focus on creating solutions for hosted email, websites, VPS servers and SaaS deployment.
Earlier this month, Parallels released the latest version of Plesk, its popular website creation and management tool. The updated version of Plesk contained more than 100 new features, including VPS server optimization, mobile website services, a storefront for sharing SaaS applications, support for a diverse range of operating systems and optimization for a variety of virtual server hosting solutions. Plesk also encourages security by allowing commercial antivirus applications to run through the virtual server utility.
