SaaS vendor opts for a virtual private server

Validas, a SaaS vendor providing management applications related to mobile phone billing, recently decided to move its IT infrastructure into a virtual server hosting environment to improve scalability and efficiency while reducing costs.

In order to achieve these goals, Validas decided to subscribe to a virtual private server host. By choosing a VPS server solution, Validas was able to move its IT architecture onto an IaaS cloud computing platform stored on a hosted server.

In the VPS server environment, Validas will share the physical server with other companies, but still have the freedom to easily customize their service options and flexibly scale their space on the server.

This is possible in a VPS server because it is only shared by a relatively small number of companies. By limiting the number of clients on one physical server, the virtual environments can be created with more freedom, leaving room for the companies to expand and customize their space on the device.

Validas also benefits from the improved security of a virtual server hosting environment. When hosting providers design virtual servers, security is built into the device's architecture. This represents a vast improvement over typical security models, as traditional IT security is usually created in response to problems and not as a foundational element of the device.
