A recent report from the India Web Hosting Blog sets three VPS server control panels clearly above the rest of the market – cPanel, Plesk and Direct Admin.
According to the report, other control panels are available, but these three provide significantly better performance, reliability and stability, making them the clear choices for any VPS hosting plan. However, there are significant differences between each plan.
cPanel is noteworthy, the report said, because it manages to provide users with an ample feature set without sacrificing ease of use and user friendliness. This has made it one of the most popular control panels on the market.
Plesk, on the other hand, offers many similar features to cPanel, but is worth recognizing because it offers a number of unique features that are not available in other control panels, the report said.
While Direct Admin does not offer the features of the other control panels, the report said its reliability and ability to manage resources stand clearly above the rest.
Recently, Parallels upgraded Plesk to a new version, making it an even more competitive control panel in the heated market. The new version of Plesk includes an application storefront and integrated development studio.
