Uploading Large Files

When uploading a large file to your Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site, you may experience a timeout. This error will only occur when using the Single File Uploader.

If you have Office 2003/2007 installed on your PC, using the Multiple File Uploader will allow you to upload the file.

For users who do not have Office 2003/2007, we recommend splitting up the file into smaller pieces.
