Creating an Auto-Responder on your Plesk 9.5 VPS

How to create an auto-responder in Plesk.

This tutorial assumes that you have already logged in to Plesk.

Now let's learn how to create an auto-responder in Plesk.

  1. Click Mail Accounts.

    • Now select the email address you want to use as an auto-responder.
    • Note: It must already be set up. If it isn't, follow the instructions to setting up a new email account at first.
  2. Let's turn inquiry@demo1234.com into auto-responder.

  3. Click Autoresponders.

  4. Click Add New Autoresponder.

  5. Enter a name for the new auto-responder, for reference only.

  6. Enter an email address where you want a copy of the original email sent (optional).

  7. Scroll down.
  8. If desired, enter a new Reply Subject message.

  9. Scroll down.
  10. Enter your auto-responder message in the box.

  11. You may attach a file to your auto-responder by choosing Add New Attachment, if necessary.

  12. Scroll down.
  13. Click Finish.

  14. That's it! The new auto-responder has been configured. But there is one final step. We now have to enable the new auto-responder.

  15. Let's select the auto-responder by clicking the box.

  16. Then click Switch On.

  17. Click the Mail Accounts link near the top of the page.

  18. Here, we can see that the new auto-responder Inquiry has been successfully set up and enabled.
