Have you signed up with our services and got confirmation that your new email account is ready?

If not, to start the process of transferring your emails to our services please follow these steps:

Go to our sign-up page and enter your existing domain name in the Domain Name search field. Our sign-up wizard then will look up your domain name and provide you option to transfer it to our servers.
Enter your existing email address in the next step and follow the instructions. Our system will automatically activate your email address on our servers and send you instruction about how to change your DNS records.
Follow the instructions to modify your DNS records (by contacting your domain name registrar or asking your system administrator to modify your DNS zone records, depending on your situation). Once your DNS Records are updated all new emails will be delivered to your account hosted in our servers.
Follow the instructions below to transfer your existing emails and contacts to our servers.

Switching From In-House Exchange Email To Hosted Exchange Email

Option 1

If you do not want to change your Outlook^® settings until you import your emails and contact, then you can import using this method on the server.

Please follow the instructions below to export your .pst file properly.

After exporting your emails and contacts to a .pst file, go to myhosting.com Control Panel "Import .pst Files or Contacts" page. Follow the instructions on the page to upload your file to our servers. Our back-end process will then import your .pst file to the Exchange server and notify you by email when it is complete.

If you are using Outlook 97-2002 you will need to upgrade your Outlook to latest version to use our services. You can download a free licensed copy of Outlook from the myhosting.com Control Panel. After installing the latest version you can follow the instructions above to transfer your emails.

Option 2

If you are using Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 and no longer need to use your old Exchange server after transferring your emails, then you can import using this method.

First you can export your emails and contacts to a .pst file, then change your Outlook configuration to work with the myhosting.com Hosted Exchange Email servers, and finally import the .pst file into your new account using Outlook’s built-in import features.

Switching From Basic Email Service Provider To Hosted Exchange Email

Option 1

If you are using Microsoft^® Outlook Express or Microsoft Mail, then you can import using this method.

Export your emails using the export function of your email software. Download a free licensed copy of your Outlook 2013 from the myhosting.com Control Panel.

Option 2

If your emails are on webmail server such as Gmail, Yahoo!, or AOL, or on any POP3 or IMAP4 capable mail server, then you can import using this method.

Log in into myhosting.com Control Panel and go to "Email Aggregator" page. If your existing account can be accessed via IMAP4, the "Email Aggregator" feature will perform a folder-to-folder copy of your Inbox and sub-folders. Accounts accessible by POP3 only will have their Inbox folder imported. Please note that the contents of your existing account will be left intact and no email will be deleted.
